Yeah, that's really the loop hole in the show. But otherwise it's a good show.

well he cant fix it becuase he doesnt have the right toold and if you have seen the episode virtuedate, you will klnow he goes inot the virtual fututre and owns a tropical juice bar

u think him being from the future and having some impressive gizmos in the first place he can just jurryrig some tools or a time machine although a timemahcine would require massive massive ammounts of energy to make it possible like wormholes or going faster than light which i dont understand how u cant go faster than light
